Gunter Pauli is dedicated to a planet where there is no waste and truly sustainable, abundant life. To this end, he established ZERI (Zero Emissions Research and Initiatives) in 1994. In doing this, he formed an international network of scientists who translate high science into simple technologies that reduce waste and increase utility of industrial and consumption by-products. ZERI demonstrates that it is possible to generate more jobs, while increasing productivity, |
reducing prices to consumers and eliminating waste. The production system and consumption model are inspired by nature where nothing goes unused. Waste from one, is sustenance for another. Gunter Pauli launches ZERI at the United Nations University in Japan His mission statement foresees the worldwide launch of ZERI at the World Expo to be held in Hannover in the Year 2000. |
